We may choose to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time but any changes will be posted on the Site. Please note that these Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a customer

By providing your details to us on The Site at time of ordering, you consent to us maintaining, holding and using such details for the purposes of processing your orders. We collect and maintain all data in accordance with the requirements of The Data Protection Act 1998.

Your personal details will only be passed to other companies who are by necessity involved in processing and fulfilling your orders and will not be passed to any other third party for any reason.

The prices payable for goods that you order are clearly set out in the Site. Should we have inadvertently mispriced an item on the Site, we will not be liable to supply the item at the stated price, prior to our acceptance of your order. All prices are expressed inclusive of UK excise duty and VAT but do not include delivery charge applicable at the time of despatch to you. Delivery charges will be calculated automatically and added to the total price payable before you confirm your order. For orders via PayPal, 4% is added to cover their additional costs.

We will notify you as soon as possible if for any reason we are unable to supply a particular item. In these circumstances you have the right to modify or cancel your order. Under these circumstances you will receive a full refund.

Alpha Education Ltd will deliver World Wide but customers should be aware of postal costs.

Delivery in the UK will be made to the address given by you on the completed on-line order form as soon as possible but could take up to 28 days (deliveries overseas may take longer). However, we will not be liable for loss occasioned by delay arising from any cause outside our reasonable control.

If the driver has to make a special journey to deliver a second or subsequent time, a further delivery charge may be made.

You agree to inspect your consignment upon delivery and to notify us by email to info@alpha-education.co.uk within 3 working days should items be damaged or of incorrect type or quantity. You must retain the defective goods for our collection and inspection. We will then endeavour to rectify problems and to replace items or refund as appropriate. If it is obvious that the consignment is incorrect or has been damaged, you should inform us immediately.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (SI 2334/2000), you have the right to cancel your order after receipt of goods - the books however, are non-returnable. Under these regulations you have the right to return goods purchased from this site for a full refund subject to the following conditions:

You must inform us by fax, phone (01273 307964) or e-mail (info@alpha-education.co.uk) within 7 days of receiving the goods, of your intention to return them.

The goods must be returned in their original packaging, unused, in undamaged stock condition suitable for resale.

You must pay the carriage cost of returning the goods.

The goods must be returned within 30 days of receipt.

If you should return the goods to us within 14 days of your cancellation, you must pay mailing costs. If you do not return the goods within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods at which point a new contract will exist between you and us and if necessary your credit or debit card will be re debited with the price of the goods.

You can pay by credit or debit card though our secure payment system. It will be taken that your authority for payment has been given when you complete the order form. Your payment will be debited from your card account before the goods are dispatched to you. Our total liability to you will not exceed the total price of the relevant items.

The goods shall remain the property of Alpha Education Ltd until you have paid for them in full.

Unless otherwise specified the materials published on the Site are presented solely for your personal and non-commercial use.

This Site is controlled and operated by The Directors of Alpha Education Ltd.

The customer (you) will assume total responsibility and risk for use of the Site and any information contained within it.

Alpha Education Ltd are not responsible and are not be liable for any losses incurred due to use of any statements, recommendations, advice and opinions expressed on this Site. These are made in good faith on the basis of information available to us at the time.
