Some people are lucky enough to meet an individual who has the potential to overthrow their established world views. Often these people are derided as insane by their peers, but as I was once told, "the sane are mad and the mad are sane."

Meetings like this can have a cataclysmic effect upon your psyche and I have been luck (or unlucky) enough to have this happen to me on a number of occasions throughout my life. The latest such meeting took place earlier this year, when I met a lady called Renee Henry, who writes under the pen name of 'Alder'.

Henry gave me a couple of each of her two books which stayed in the ever increasing pile that I intend to read, which teeter precariously at the side of my bed. Several weeks later I found the time to read one of these books, the Battle of the Trees, and was entranced by it.

I am not going to pretend that I agree with everything Henry has written, but the concepts she explores are so significant and potentially devastating that I believe she should be given space to propound her theories to a wider audience.

JD: In your books, you hint, indeed state, that a significant secret is being hidden at the ancient archeological site and museum of Knossos on the Greek island of Crete.....

RH: It really is very curious that the symbolic meaning of the icons are not explained in the museum guides, especially in the light of academic research which has shown that they are symbolic of the cycle of eternal return. This, I believe at last, is a cycle of birth, death and re-birth on earth through reincarnation.

The 'bull-leaping' fresco is not explained properly either, because it actually depicts an accurate solar-lunar calendar in the symbolic form. This research is important as it shows that the first western belief system was in fact that of reincarnation, and it was this that was the impetus behind the highly evolved art and culture of ancient Greece. A secret cabal called the Idian Dactyls who were in myth, the tutors of Zeus, installed themselves in the Psychro Cave.

I maintain that they directed a religious revolution from within, a revolution which sought to eradicate man's belief in reincarnation and in turn mankind's knowledge mass to the real truth of existence. The truth of what happened was then hidden within secret societies by men who sought to control and oppress mankind, whilst retaining the knowledge to empower themselves.

JD: In your books you make some extraordinary claims about the historical figure of Jesus Christ...

RH: The ancient belief in the cycle of the eternal return as depicted on the Minoan seals, was symbolically portrayed by images of twin kings and the Mother Goddess - a downgrade of the original Holy Grail idea of reincarnation which did not involve kings in any way. It was the start of a political system of control that adhered itself to the original belief system.

Eventually the Mother Goddess was removed by an all male cabal of patriarchal priests, and the twin kings became fused into a sole or solar king (sun king), giving rise to the concept of hereditary monarchy.

Jesus was a solar king and the tenets of the crucifixion at Golgotha were used to finally bury the idea of reincarnation.

JD: One of your most extraordinary claims is that through past life regression you can remember being a witness at Christ's crucifixion.

RH: Yes, that's true. My memories of the event are actually quite different from the biblical account. I have not given the full details in my book, but I did send the full account to the Roman Catholic Church, since I am sure that a secret document exists somewhere which will corroborate my version of events.

JD: Why is the crucifixion so important to your theories?

RH: Man has always been manipulated into having a belief in an after-life, but not in the truth of an after-life through reincarnation here on earth. This is the major reason why he has not been able to face responsibility for the future of the planet.

JD: Do you therefore think that we are leading towards another apocalypse?

RH: Certainly. Man continues to fill up the electromagnetic spectrum with A/C electrical currents. The advent of electronics has always been the trigger by which a magnetic reversal of the north and south poles will occur.

JD: Another of your most controversial claims is that the European union is the result of a conspiracy dating back hundreds of years.

RH: I believe that despite the so-called referendum, the European union was never something which arose out of democratic vote, following from full discussion and knowledge of the historical facts. It was in fact the result of a secret plan by Illuminist Masonic secret societies as far back as the French Revolution, when it was mooted as a 'Theocratic United States of the West'. Ultimately the plan can be traced back to the Knossos site in Crete where, as I have said, the foundations of the oppressive laws of the modern European political system are laid out at Gortyn in Crete, and it must not be forgotten that Europe itself takes its name from the myth of Europe in ancient Crete.

JD: How does the European Union tie up with the world plan of a global elite?

RH: The European Union is merely a cog in a much greater plan to join up three groupings of super-states. These are the European Union, the American Union (which is to evolve from the North American Free Trade Agreement to include the whole of the Americas) and the Pacific Union (which will evolve out of the Asia-Australia Free Trade region - APEC).

JD: How much of history can you attribute to machinations of this world power?

RH: I maintain that both French and Russian Revolutions, together with the murder of Europe's Royalty, were part of a plan for a supposed socialist Europe. Also, Hitler was merely a puppet of an occult plot, a contingent divided by the perfect climate into which the concept of a European Union could be introduced. Propagandist literature espousing ideals of peace, unity and internationalism were used to dupe Europeans into accepting the plan of a World Government. Nothing has occurred on this planet for thousands of years which hasn't been orchestrated by the secret societies.

JD: What dangers do the European Union pose?

RH: The European Union is potentially a very dangerous organisation. Principally it is Marxist in conception and organisation, and is essentially a wonderful piece of insanity if ever I saw one. It is run by a few power thirsty drones at its pyramidal apex.

The 'hive of Europe' as I call it, is one step closer to the Orwellian nightmare of a police state, where freedom of belief, the democratic right to question, and freedom for the individual to even think his own thoughts will become very much a thing of the past.

People such as you and I would be certified insane and re-programmed for life in Big Brother's Animal Farm, is set for completion early in the next millennium. Sixty years ago, in his symbolic novel The Silence of the Earth, C S Lewis prophesied that there would be a battle for man's soul on this planet. I can assure you that this is happening now.

JD: You have also claimed that as well as the political aims of the 'New World Order', there is also a strong religious motivation....

RH: The final, and possibly the most serious allegation that I make in both my books is that the world state when it is established, plans to bring in a 'universal' patriarchal religion.

Eliphas Levi, a member of the secret societies as far back as 1879, announced that a political and religious universal kingdom would be established, and that it would be led by those with the "keys to the east". This was an oblique reference to technology capable of manipulating the mind and body of man.

Freedom of choice to choose ones belief will be a thing of the past. In fact, whilst walking through the Holborn district of London in 1989 (when I was fighting a wardenship case to uphold the declaration of human rights and especially the 'right to uphold one's belief'), a barrister warned me to "....remember that from now on Big Brother is watching you!" My reply was simple, "So is God!"

The overriding question today, is which of those do you serve? The last crack in the door of freedom is rapidly closing!

JD: Have you found it difficult to make your work and research available?

RH: Immensely! The Battle of the Trees was produced in a T-shirt factory in Crete with the help of Amstel Beer and Prit Stick! It is the research and knowledge which is important. You have to remember that the Beatles produced good music without fancy electronics - our generation just sort of got on with it and knocked the barriers down - you do not need big money to tell the truth.

JD: What can we do?

RH: The smart answer is to act! I did try to petition the House of Commons earlier this year based upon 'seven questions amongst the deterioration of liberty and freedom in the west'. Unfortunately, the petition was predictably 'scuttled' despite the courageous attempts of MP Tim Rathbone, who was the then Conservative MP for Lewes.

Twenty years ago similar questions were asked in Parliament following the book and TV programme Alternative 3, which purported to expose a global conspiracy surrounding a joint USA/USSR base on Mars manned by slave labour. The MP Harrington Bryce said then that "something was going on" and that he had been warned to stop probing.

I hope now, however, that I have identified exactly what is going on, on planet earth!
